Gave my bathroom sink and toilet seat a much needed makeover using Unicorn Spit

I'm a newbie at blogging so I don't have a before picture of my sink. To give you an idea, it was a gross off white color and stained. I promise to do better in my future posts. I'll be posting many more. After cleaning my sink out, I dried it completely and put one coat of the chalk paint. I let it dry for several hours.
Next, is the fun part. I started off with Zia Teal. I put dabs of it all over the sink and then with a dry ( make sure it's dry) sponge brush, I drug the stain in random directions. Waited for it to dry completely
Using the same technique, I moved on with Blue Thunder and let it dry.
Last but not least, I added Midnight Blackness and after drying over night, added 3 layers of the sealer.
I used the same technique with my toilet seat (using a brand new one). I will slowly continue on with the rest of the bathroom when I get time and funds ( owner won't reimburse me but doesn't mind me doing the upgrades) The toilet seat pictures look darker because they were taken early in the morning before it was light out.

OKAYYYY.....I WAS GOING TO rip off my sink cover in my bathroom...but to save money I think im going to do this...I will have to fight my husband....but I think I like this idea...im not in the blue frame of mind....because most things in my bathroom are around the color of tan and brown....so....I am wondering what other colors you could recommend....I would love to see more schemes ...I also think this would be fun to do. I also hate my large mirror up top....there is no medicine cabinet...I prefer to have a mirrored medicine cabinet out of wood....they use to have those long time ago and I know I can still get those....but getting that large mirror off my wall is a killer....I dont know why they build homes like they do....like a shell...I lived in England and that is what they did...and people had to buy kits...like a kitchen kit or bathroom kit...we need storage of all kinds and esp medicine cabinets...we have other cabinets but that would take care of the towels and toilet paper....not our medicine and we are old....so we have plenty of it...who is designing these homes...if its a woman she should be shot for doing this....if its men they need to realize that storage is of the utmost importance...esp in the kitchen and bathrooms...do you agree....

I can't seem to find that brand of marine varnish and on Amazon I see water-based and oil-based. Was yours water-based or oil-based?
