First, wipe down the grout with hot water to remove surface dirt and grime. Next, spray a cleaning solution on the grout. You can mix your own by putting a 50-50 mix of vinegar and water into a spray bottle. Spray on the grout, let stand for five minutes and then scrub with a soft brush.
Hi Charlene - This is the shower cleaner that we use to help keep grout and tiles clean and minimize the mildew - it works on kitchen grout too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

The above answers are all very good suggestions for cleaning the grout. However, if you don't want to do it again in a few months, I suggest you go a hardware or big box store like Lowe's and purchase grout sealer. Apply after a cleaning to keep it looking fresh for a long time afterwards.
I have written several blog on my website covering each and every topics how you can clean bathroom grout. Steam cleaning is an amazing choice for the individuals who mean to have a shimmering washroom! Numerous methods of cleaning are accessible, and some of the time it may very well be so overwhelming picking a solitary cycle that will convey the best!
This is what I use to clean my entire bathroom It works great on grout. Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.
On a side note after cleaning you can change the color of your grout for a different cleaner look.
If you want to completely change the color of your grout. There is a product by Mapei called Grout Refresh. You can find it in Floor and Decor and Home Depot sells a few colors, but Amazon has many colors. It is not hard to use, just time consuming. I changed the color of my 2 bathrooms grout several years ago. It has a sealer that prevents stains, and it still looks brand new.
